These terms apply when you buy from Charted Prints (“we”, “us”) at chartedprints.com. By placing an order you agree to them. They don’t affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

Our products

We sell personalised data-visualisation posters, available as a physical print or an instant digital download. Every poster is personalised with the name, flag and (optionally) score you choose, placed at the top of a real-world ranking.

Ordering

Placing an order is an offer to buy. Your order is accepted when we send your order confirmation. We may decline or cancel an order (for example if an item is unavailable or there’s an obvious pricing error), in which case we’ll refund any payment taken.

Prices & payment

Prices are shown on the product page in GBP and include any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Payment is taken at checkout through our payment provider. We don’t store your full card details.

Getting your personalisation right

Because each poster is made to your specification, you are responsible for the details you enter — including spelling, capitalisation, the flag and the score. The live preview shows exactly what will be printed, so please check it carefully before ordering. We print what you submit.

Physical prints & delivery

Physical posters are made to order and shipped worldwide. Production and delivery estimates are shown on the product and Shipping & Returns pages and at checkout. These are estimates, not guarantees; carrier or customs delays can occasionally occur.

Digital downloads

If you choose the digital option, you’ll receive print-ready files (a PDF plus high-resolution images for each size) by download link once your order completes. Digital files are licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use — you may print them for yourself or as a gift, but you may not resell, redistribute or use them commercially. Because digital files are delivered immediately, you agree that your right to cancel ends once the download is made available.

Cancellations, returns & refunds

Our posters are personalised and made to your specification, so they are generally exempt from the usual 14-day change-of-mind cancellation right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations. However, if your poster arrives damaged, defective or not as ordered, contact us with a photo within 14 days of delivery and we’ll arrange a free reprint or a full refund. Nothing here affects your legal rights if goods are faulty. See Shipping & Returns for details.

Intellectual property

The poster designs, layouts and the underlying chart engine are owned by Charted Prints. Buying a poster gives you a personal licence to use that specific personalised design; it does not transfer ownership of our designs. The underlying data is drawn from published sources, which we cite on each poster.

Acceptable use

Please don’t use the personalisation to create content that is unlawful, hateful, defamatory or infringes someone else’s rights. We may refuse or cancel any order we reasonably consider inappropriate.

Our responsibility

We’ll provide your poster with reasonable care and skill. To the extent permitted by law, we’re not liable for losses that weren’t reasonably foreseeable, or that arise from your own input (such as a spelling choice). Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your statutory consumer rights.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales.
