This policy explains what personal information Charted (“we”, “us”, “Charted Prints”) collects when you visit or buy from chartedprints.com, how we use it, and the rights you have. We only collect what we need to take your order, make your poster and support you.
Who we are

What we collect
- Order & contact details — your name, email address, billing and shipping address, and the details you enter to personalise a poster (the name, flag and score you choose).
- Payment information — card and payment details are entered directly with our payment provider (WooPayments/Stripe). We do not see or store your full card number.
- Technical & usage data — basic information your browser sends (IP address, device/browser type) and cookies used to run the cart, checkout and site analytics.
How we use it
We use your information to process and deliver your order, produce your personalised poster, take payment, send order confirmations and download links, respond to enquiries, prevent fraud, meet our legal obligations, and improve the store. Our lawful bases are performing our contract with you, our legitimate interests in running the business, and compliance with the law.
Who we share it with
We share only what’s necessary with the partners who help us run the store:
- Printful — for physical orders, we send your shipping details and print file so your poster can be produced and posted.
- Payment providers (WooPayments/Stripe, and any “buy now, pay later” option you choose) — to process your payment.
- Hosting & technical services — our website host and the service that generates your poster files.
We never sell your personal information. Some providers may process data outside the UK; where they do, appropriate safeguards apply.

We use cookies that are necessary for the cart and checkout to work, and may use analytics cookies to understand how the site is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for as long as needed to fulfil your order and to meet legal, accounting and tax requirements, then delete or anonymise them.

Under UK data protection law you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to data portability.
